Mechanical Engineering Department
offers 4-year programme in Bachelor's of Technology in Mechanical
Engineering. The course was started from the very beginning of the
college in 1996. The Syllabus and Course structure are as prescribed
by Mahamaya Technical University (MTU) . The AICTE approved current intake
capacity for this program is 120.
Presently the U. P Technical University
admits students in this programme through the U. P State Entrance
Examination (UP SEE). 15% of the seats are allowed to be filled
by the Management on merit basis. Diploma Holders with 1 st Division
marks are admitted in IIIrd Semester directly under the lateral
entry provisions of 10% of intake, with the approval of Director
of Technical Education U.P. The Department has well qualified faculty,
technical support staff, adequate and well furnished classrooms
with audio visual facilities and well equipped laboratory facilities
for imparting quality education to the students admitted in this
programme.
The Department is also
conducting Sequential M. Tech. programme since 2006. It has also
got the approval for running regular M. Tech. (ME) programme. Department
is offering the regular M. Tech. course from July'08. |
