Annual Sports Meet "SPARDHA-08" was organized from 1st to 2nd March 2008 at college sports ground. Dr. R.C. Maheshwari, Principal HCST; Dr. P.S. Josan, Dean Student Welfare inaugrated the Sports Meet. Highlights.

Open Day & Night cricket tournament was organized from 25th Jan to 2nd Feb 2008 at College sports ground. 42 team from HCST and HIMCS boys and faculty/staff participated in this tournament. Shri. Prdeep Mathur, MLC Brindavan, Shri Govind Agarwal, Additional SP; sHRI. YK Gupta Vice Chairman, HCST inaugrated the tournament. Dr. R.C. Maheshwari Principal HCST, Dr. PS JOSAN, Dean Student Welfare; Cpt. NN Malhotra and other eminent personalities were also present on this occassion.

GT XI won the tournament. Dr. SN Lal, Advisor SGI and Prof. VK Sharma, Dean HR III distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners.

Inter branch Badminton tournament was organized from 18th to 20th Jan 2008. Dr. RC Maheshwari, Principal HCST inaugrated the touranamentand the inaugral match was played between Prof. VK Sharma (Dean HR III) and SK Dubey (Assot. Dean Trainning & Development). The results of the events are -

College welcomed the Asia Cup Winner Indian Hockey Team on 31st October 2007 at the college premises.

A friendly Cricket Match between BMAS Engg. college and HCST faculty/staff was organized on 22nd October 2007 at HCST sports ground. BMAS college won the match. The match was inaugrated by Principal HCST, Dr. RC Maheshwari.

Inter branch cricket tournament was organized from 11 to 18 October 2007 in which 18 team from boys and 3 teams from faculty/staff participated. Mechanical Engg. (Boys) team defeated Civil Engg. team in the final and Mechanical Engg. faculty team defeated Computer Science Engg. team.

In boys group Mechanical Engg. defeated Computer Science Engg. team and in girls group Computer Science Engg. team defeated Electronics & Instrumentation Engg. team. Dr. R.C. Maheshwari, Principal HCST distributed the certificates and prizes.
Inter branch Vollyball tournament was organized from 14 to 15 September at college sports ground. Principal Dr. RC Maheshwari inaugurated the tournament. Civil Engg. team won the tournament. Prize was distributed by Dr. CL Mehrotra Dean Academic.
