Workshops & Labs The college has very well equipped Workshop & Lab facilities and students are encouraged to aquire application skills and practically verify the knowledge in the class room. Various departments and programmes have their independent labs and workshops. HCST labs and workshops are amongst the best equipped in the country second only to the Govt. funded IIT's. Well equipped laboratories exist for physics, chemistry, applied mechanics, fluid machanics, thermodynamics and IC engines, product & process development, material testing, R&D, advanced computation, CAD, CAM and are supervised by competent faculty members and instructors.
Engineering workshops have the latest machine tools, CNC machines, welding & fabrication facilities, pattern making and foundry etc. for mechanical engineering students. Electrical lab and workshop imparts training and practical testing of electrical motors and equipments. |
