In the 1 year long run of the STA, the association organized various training sessions and 3 Mega Events whose details are as follows:

Regular Practice Sessions

The Tiger Team wing of the association was involved in regular discharge of training to the members. The Practice sessions were organized on daily basis and according to the placement of the minor tests and holidays.

Even Semester timings: In the even semesters when there was no cold season the training was organized in the morning timings from 6:00 am to 7:00 AM or in the evening time of 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm as per the ease of the members.

Odd Semester Timings: In the odd Semester when the season is cold the timings of practice is restricted to 7:00 am to 8:00 am or in the weekends.

In these Practice Sessions the members were physically trained according to the norms of the Martial Arts and they were taught Yoga and Meditation. Along with basic training they were also given Weapon Training and Self Defense techniques.

These Sessions were aimed at building the Physical endurance level of the members. These sessions helped the members to increase their Concentration and Observation powers and Self Rejuvenation.

These sessions channelized the overwhelming energy of the Young students into positive direction.

Special Performance on the 26th Jan 2009:

On the day of the inauguration of the STA by the Honorable Vice Chairman, SGI Mr. Y. K. Gupta the Tiger Team gave a very impressive demonstration and skills of the Martial Arts.

The Tiger Team underwent a 20 day Intensive training for 2 hrs daily and learnt the Martial Arts Basics and gave a blasting performance.



The 26th Jan 2009 performance was one of its kind and unexpected for the audience and reflected the Principals of the STA.

The 8 days Intensive training Camp from 22-29th Oct 2009

The 8 days Intensive training Camp from 22-29th Oct 2009
The STA in association with and on the standards of the:
1. The World Taekwondo Federation (Seoul, Korea).
2. The world Karate Federation (California, USA).
3. The Indian Taekwondo Federation.
4. The Indian Karate Federation
5. The Sports Authority of India, New Delhi

Organized an 8 day Intensive Training camp “SHAKTI PARIKSHAN” in the campus of the HCST front lawns. In this special training camp the members were given training in the following fields:
1. Self Defense Techniques
2. Weapon Training (Nanchaku, Knife, Rod, Sword, Lathi, Ninja, Qatana)
3. Gymnastics and Acrobats
4. Special Technique (Tile breaking, Fire breaking, Khaprel and Marble-breaking)
5. “Taekwondo and Wu-Shu combat Meditation Technique”
6. Yoga and Meditation

We got an overwhelming response from the students and in this event around 550 members took part and were trained successfully to the level of Yellow Belt of Martial Arts. The concluding ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Chairman SGI, Mr. Y. K. Gupta.

DELHI STATE MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Indian Karate Federation Organized a Delhi State open championship on the 24th Jan 2010 at the Major Dhyan Chand Sports Complex. The STA’s Tiger Team gave a participation of 16 members who underwent a special training programme under the direct guidance of the President STA.

The hard-work of the Tigers of the STA was successful and we received

NORTH INDIA MARTIAL ART CHAMPIONSHIP (INDEPENDENCE CUP)

The Delhi Sports And Child Development Authority in lead with Delhi Govt. organized “Independence Cup” at the North India Level On 22nd Aug 2010. The STA’s Tiger Team gave a participation of 20 members who underwent a special training programme under the direct guidance of the President STA.

The hard-work of the Tigers of the STA was successful and we received

Out of total participation of 20 Students

Gold Medal 10
Silver Medals 5
Bronze Medals 5

We also won the Best DEMO AWARD and the Strike Through Best Fighter Award.

EACH 1 TEACH 1 CAMPS
The STA is constantly engaged in the promotion of the Human Values and all round development of the individuals in this context the STA’s Each 1 Teach 1 programs have came out to be very handy in which the Senior batch students take out time to teach the juniors, this creates a very lucrative environment for growth and understanding between the students.

ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS

The STA has organized Environment Awareness Campaigns in the Hostels and in the Campus so as to inculcate the feeling of saving the Mother Earth and we have received great enthusiasm regarding the Same.
