Hindustan College Celebrated Birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as Innovation Day
Hindustan College of Science & Technology, Mathura the flagship college of SGI, Agra celebrated birthday of the Former President of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in the form of 19th ‘Innovation Day’, by exhibiting the innovative ideas of the young minds in the Science Model Exhibition on 15th October, 2019. Approx 150 mobile and obsolete science models were exhibited in it by 450 students from about 40 schools and 8 engineering colleges of Agra-Mathura region. The occasion was graced by Mr. Nitin Aggarwal, Joint Director, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, as the Chief Guest and Brigadier Manoj Kumar, and Mr. Amitabh Pal Scientist of ADRDE as Guest of Honour. All dignitaries lit the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati and inaugurated the program with Saraswati Vandana. Mr. Y.K. Gupta, the Vice Chairman of Sharda Group welcomed the chief guest of the program, Dr. Nitin Agarwal with a sapling. On this occasion, invited guests were welcomed by senior officials of the college.
